(I have a life, I promise.) I would consider myself a decent Path of Exile participant, but I am light years behind the ideal. But, I’m certainly not new, so I decided to speak with some totally new Path of Exile player (below 20 hours Path of Exile gameplay) and take some time to reflect on Path of Exile’s new Path of Exile player experience.
Path of Exile is an extremely hard Path of Exile sport in case you don’t know what you are doing. But that can be half the fun. There are two ways to experience the Path of Exile game as a new Path of Exile player: you can create your first build by yourself understanding it will be suboptimal, or stick to a guide. Many Path of Exile players opt for a blend of the two approaches during their very first playthrough, possibly for the purposes of undergoing the Path of Exile game without being overwhelmed or simply for the sake of performance. The new Path of Exile participant I had been talking to had determined to create his own personality, and as he told me, he was spending just as much time deciding where to go about the tree as he was actually playing with the Path of Exile game. I decided to follow a guide and tweak my characters afterwards as I understood the Path of Exile game better. Both of us have enjoyed ourselves tremendously, and there is really no wrong way to begin with Path of Exile.
This is ideal for encouraging experimentation and playing your own pace. If you want to read nothing and perform through the Path of Exile game blind, you can do that. It took Cohh heaps of hours to attain the end Path of Exile game, but it takes me around 10 hours on a new personality, and I am slow in contrast to fast people. But that is fine, and he underwent a very different Path of Exile game than I have.
One of the things that the new Path of Exile player I spoke to expressed confusion about was the fact that there’s a “meta” in what is mostly a solo Path of Exile game. Path of Exile does possess a meta, but it is completely poe currency self-imposed by the community. There are assembles designed for clearing fast and assembles designed for bossing quick. There is poe market a “meta” in the sense that there are established tiers of specific builds that are best at performing a variety of tasks.
